August- 4 weeks til Due Date!

I get so bummed when I don't keep up with my blog and look- now it's been a month! Darn..

Anyways, we have been busy busy busy, but the nights seem to creep by these days.

Branden got Baptized on the 9th! It was such a good day. Cam H. baptized him, and we had a pretty simple, but neat, program. My dad and Tim spoke. Branden family was there, along with lots of other family and friends. Grandpa and Grandma Smith even made the drive up. We had a great BBQ with family after at mom and dad's. Branden got lots of neat gifts! Branden was pretty nervous about the day, but it turned out just perfect. We have lots to look forward to this next year, I'm so proud of him for his courage and strength through these last few month.



Things with the pregnancy have been going good. I met with another Dr. on the 19th (Dr. Anton) and quite a few changes had popped up! The biggest concern she had was that my blood pressure had flew up to 140/90! I usually have REALLY low BP- so not a good change. She said I should come back in for a check with nurses and dr. moore. Heather was with me that day, and I was just dreading telling B, cuz I knew he would be in a tizzy. He's such a worrier~ :) I also had to start my "internal exams" with her that day. I got a wonderful swab done to check for Group B, and then she said the baby was already dropped down to a 0 in my pelvis, and that my cervix was already thinning out! WHAT! This is when I started to get a little shaky/nervous. I haven't really felt better since. She was quite possitive we might have an early little guy..... It's been hard for the past week to really try hard not to get my hopes up that he is coming out soon. I have been worried about every little pain and contraction now. I have my appointment with Dr. Moore on wednesday though, which I am hoping will really tell us a lot and calm my nerves a little bit. We are also doing one more ultrasound that day to check on babies weight/growth and all that. So, basically we're just waiting around for wed. appt., trying to stay busy. We did get a quick hospital bag packed that night though! So, it helped get us into gear.



These last few weeks are so weird just waiting around for who know's what to happen! I think Branden might hyperventalate some nights because he's so anxious and excited. Heath has helped my on baby errands, registering, loads us up with stuff every time we are over there- so I'm not worried about baby things.... I have my shower this week too! I can't wait!! It will be so fun to get the nursery decorated and organized.

Well, I will post a Dr. update on wednesday... We are hoping to go to the Wenatchee cabin this weekend with the fam- and try not to have a baby up there! haha....we'll see what dr. says......
